Welcome to the Singin' Hakuna Matatas 5K fundraising page where it is all about the fun of Dancin' & Singin' in the Rain with the philosophy of Timon & Pumbaa of "Hakuna Matata" from The Lion King!
We have all heard the saying...."a picture is worth a thousand words!" Well this picture says it all - about the fun we ALL have at SGT!
SGT is the only Chicago area nonprofit that provides educational and therapeutic performing arts for individuals with disabilities. Each student works on their individual goals in conjunction with highly trained staff with backgrounds in occupational therapy, special education and theatre arts teaching professionals. Using the stage as the platform, each actor is celebrated for their unique abilities while integrating creativity and lots of fun!
Creative adaptation is at the core of what we ALWAYS do!
We are asking for your support in our fundraising effort so that we can reach our goal of raising $500 in support of SGT!

►Start raising funds - let all your friends and family know what you are doing to support SGT!
►Between September 17-26 do your 5K Your Way! You choose the activity and location - run, walk, dance, swim, or any other activity you choose! It's up to you - do the 5K your way!
►Then join us on Sunday, September 26th for a Finisher's Party and Fun Run! You can even choose to do the Fun Run as your 5K activity!
►Post your selfies, videos, pictures on your social media and tag SGT!
